Minimalist Photography

1) Each of the photography pieces I chose was because I felt like they tell a story despite what some people would consider a 'lack' of things. I like this photo with the shoes because even though there is just the wire and the shoes, it can show the character of the neighborhood that it was taken in and the type of things that happen there.

2) I liked this photo because of the appealing color of the sky and the placement of the airplane in the corner. I think this picture does a good job of capturing how vast out atmosphere is, and that is what is compelling to me.

3) I liked this photo because of the contrast between the black tree and the white snow. I also think that the trail of footprints is appealing to the image and adds movement; it brings your eye across the image. I also like that the you can wonder what the footprints belong to, and if they're successfully surviving in what looks like a desolate area.
